What I do
I work with SaaS teams on the parts of a Ruby on Rails application that don't fit neatly into a roadmap — production debugging, Rails upgrades, background-job issues, performance work, code review, and ongoing maintenance on older codebases. The work is hands-on, not advisory. Most engagements end with code shipped, not a slide deck.

How I work
Most engagements start with a short technical review of the app — current Rails and Ruby version, Gemfile, background jobs, caching, deployment flow, and the parts that feel risky to change. From there I suggest a practical path: an audit, a focused project, or ongoing fractional support. I work directly with the team, ship code in your repository, and keep the scope and communication clear from the start.
